Final post

The 'as' art show at the Pine Rivers Regional Gallery incorporated: Paintings, Drawings, Video and Internet Blog. Each of the artworks were represented online, with an image and text. The Online postings were then printed and displayed next to the relevant work in the Gallery.

The blog text focused on the nature of belief and influences underlying each work. A video was produced that was viewed on opening night and available in the gallery during the course of the exhibition. The video was a pastiche of various clips and experimentation based loosely on the theme of the show.

A special painting 'as' was produced for the show. The work was sort of a head dump of ideas and collected images from various periods covered by the other works in the show. The works, blog, and video demonstrated the circular nature of influences and how different media inform art production and underlying beliefs.
